Managing Director PR (m/w)

About the role

We are looking for a Managing Director PR to head our global Public Relations department. In this newly created senior position you will oversee four international PR teams and drive integrated communication strategies for high‑profile public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead four global PR teams (approximately 60 consultants) across multiple continents.
• Develop, implement and supervise integrated communication campaigns for B2B and B2C clients.
• Coordinate campaigns with internal units such as Creation, Online/Social Media, Media Planning, Event, and TV Production, as well as with 82 network agencies worldwide.
• Shape new business strategies, acquire new national and international clients, and advise senior management.
• Manage staff recruitment, performance, business planning and budget oversight.
• Maintain strong relationships with governmental institutions in around 40 countries, understanding political collaboration requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of PR experience, preferably within a global agency environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PR and advertising tools and integrated communications.
• Extensive network of media contacts and journalists at national and international levels.
• Proven experience in budget calculation and business operations.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German) are an asset.
