Member of Engineering (Data & Analytics)

About the role

We are looking for a Member of Engineering (Data & Analytics) to join our AI research platform in Germany. You will build and operate the core data and analytics infrastructure that powers large‑scale model training, experimentation, and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and run data and analytics systems that support AI model development workflows.
• Own the full lifecycle of experiment data, including modeling, ingestion, retrieval, querying, analysis and retention.
• Build high‑performance, scalable data pipelines and distributed systems using cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to translate workflow needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Contribute to greenfield projects while improving existing platforms for reliability, observability and maintainability.
• Identify technical opportunities, define solutions and drive cross‑team initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience building large‑scale data systems and distributed infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of distributed‑system concepts such as consistency models, queue/stream processing, and data pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes and production observability tools.
• Ability to lead complex, ambiguous technical initiatives and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset focused on scalable, reliable engineering solutions.
