Project Engineer

About the role

Marioff Germany is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of its HI-FOG high-pressure water mist fire suppression systems. The role involves coordinating technical projects from design through installation, ensuring customer specifications are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Verify system and plant design parameters and prepare measurements from isometric drawings.
• Create and review P&ID diagrams and related technical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and customers to ensure timely execution.
• Support commissioning, testing and hand‑over of fire suppression installations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in construction or related engineering fields.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, or a technician/master craftsman qualification in piping, heating or plumbing.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and a valid Category B driver’s licence.
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience creating P&ID diagrams.
• Knowledge of fire‑protection standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB).
• Understanding of ISO certification processes.
