QA Test Engineer – Manual & Automated Testing

About the role

IMTF Group is a leading RegTech provider focused on AML, KYC and anti‑fraud solutions. As a QA Test Engineer you will ensure the quality of our compliance platform by designing and executing both manual and automated tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain manual test cases across the RegTech product suite.
• Build and extend automated test coverage to shift from manual to automated testing where valuable.
• Investigate, reproduce and document defects, collaborating closely with developers for resolution.
• Validate functional and non‑functional requirements for each release.
• Contribute to QA strategy, tooling choices and continuous improvement of testing practices.
• Partner with product management and engineering throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proven track record in both manual and automated testing.
• Fluency in German and English.

Required skills

• Java (including Gradle and container environments).
• SQL query writing and analysis.
• Test automation frameworks and maintainable test suite development.
• API testing and backend service testing.
• Complex UI workflow testing.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance and security testing in an Agile setup.
