About the role
Axel Hotels is seeking a friendly and proactive Receptionist to join its Berlin location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the hotel’s operational standards and promoting upselling opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures for all guests.
- Manage reservations and coordinate front‑desk activities using the hotel’s booking system.
- Provide high‑quality customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle shift management and ensure smooth handovers between teams.
- Promote upselling and cross‑selling of hotel services and other Axel Hotel properties.
Required profile
- Minimum two years’ experience as a receptionist in a comparable hotel environment.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication, empathy, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and respect for guest confidentiality.
Required skills
- Experience with the Tesipro or Ulyses Cloud reservation system.
