Retail Store Manager – Sales & Operations (On‑Site, Germany)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and lead high‑performing teams across multiple locations in Germany. The role is on‑site and requires strong leadership in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth performance.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail sales team.
• Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Monitor stock levels, product displays, pricing, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and brand image.
• Oversee cash handling, POS systems, reporting and basic administration.
• Track KPIs and implement actions to improve store performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and retail procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail sales, shop or store management.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of retail KPIs, sales targets and customer service standards.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent German; English is an advantage.
• Flexible to work on‑site, including weekends or peak periods.
