Senior Director, Global Product – Women’s Health

About the role

Progyny Global is seeking a Senior Director, Global Product to shape the strategic direction of its worldwide product and service portfolio. This senior leader will drive innovative solutions for women’s and family health across diverse international markets, combining strategic vision with hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a compelling global product vision focused on scaling women’s and family health outcomes.
• Act as a thought leader in the women’s health space, using deep ecosystem knowledge to inspire product innovation.
• Champion member and customer voices, turning real‑world pain points into high‑impact product solutions.
• Lead product strategy across regulated healthcare systems and insurance‑adjacent infrastructure, including claims, reimbursement, and payments.
• Align and coordinate decisions among founders, sales, member experience, finance, engineering, and legal teams.
• Own end‑to‑end product ownership from ideation through launch and go‑to‑market execution.
• Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver scalable, intuitive, high‑quality products.
• Ensure product experiences reflect the sensitivity and complexity of women’s health journeys.

Required profile

• Degree in healthcare, life sciences, public health, medicine, health economics, business, engineering, or equivalent product leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading global product strategy in healthcare, health‑tech, benefits, or related fields; experience in women’s health or femtech preferred.
• Deep understanding of the women’s health ecosystem and ability to serve as a domain expert.
• Medical or clinical background strongly preferred, or extensive experience collaborating with medical teams and healthcare systems.
• Alternatively, founder or early product leader experience in a women’s health or femtech startup.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate international healthcare regulations and complex compliance environments.
