Senior Product Manager – Deployments

About the role

As our Product Manager for Deployments, you will own a foundational layer of the platform, including core runtimes, deployment technology, networking, and observability. This role requires taking ownership, challenging assumptions, and turning ambiguity into shipped features.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the strategy for deployment and runtime technologies based on market insight and customer discovery.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from PRD and user stories through launch and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, SRE, and Design to deliver high‑quality, mission‑critical features on time.
• Act as the internal and external subject‑matter expert, supporting sales and marketing on go‑to‑market execution.
• Track KPIs, run root‑cause analysis loops, gather user feedback, and continuously improve product‑market fit.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS, cloud, or developer tooling.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, PaaS/IaaS, and developer workflows.
• Proven track record of taking technical products from concept to launch.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for different audiences.
• Background in computer science, engineering or consulting is a plus.
• German language skills are preferred but not mandatory; based near Karlsruhe or Munich with ~50 % on‑site presence.
