Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level backend engineer to join a fully remote team building an AI‑powered, real‑time data platform. You will design and implement highly concurrent microservices that scale from small deployments to high‑traffic environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise highly concurrent backend systems for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Architect core microservices that support real‑time, large‑scale applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, application developers and deployment engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to streamline releases and ensure efficient software delivery.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, code quality, testing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong background in RESTful API design, unit testing (Jest) and SQL relational data modeling.
• Experience with Docker‑based development workflows and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
