Strategic Purchasing Internship – Turned Parts

About the role

This mandatory internship supports the Strategic Purchasing team for turned parts at Bosch Rexroth. You will work on the full procurement cycle, from quotation requests to contract award, gaining hands‑on experience in a global industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist buyers in preparing and participating in annual price negotiations.
• Support the creation and maintenance of contracts.
• Conduct procurement market research and feed findings into the global parts family strategy.
• Maintain supplier data in the Supplier Relationship Management tool and SAP.
• Contribute to supplier‑ or part‑specific relocation projects and support project management activities.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities and motivation to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multicultural team.
• Very good English and good German language skills.

Required skills

• Confident use of MS Office.
• Initial experience with SAP.
