Working Student – Research & Teaching Assistant for BME

About the role

The Business Management & Entrepreneurship (BME) team at CODE is looking for a working student to support the creation of an open‑access online journal and to act as a teaching assistant for the Orientation Semester module OS_03: Introduction to Business Management & Entrepreneurship.

Key responsibilities

• Research existing journals and publications in product management and entrepreneurship.
• Investigate technological solutions for an open‑access online journal.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and executing meetings, workshops and events related to the journal initiative.
• Prepare templates for typesetting and layout of academic content.
• Support Orientation Semester students by answering content‑related questions and providing feedback.
• Help create a positive learning environment and ensure feedback reaches the faculty.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in the BME program at CODE.
• Registered address in Germany with a German tax number and bank account.
• Legal right to work in Germany.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail in administrative tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic setting.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivation to help fellow students.
