Agent Deployment Lead

About the role

This is a hands‑on deployment role at an early‑stage AI startup building autonomous agents for enterprise procure‑to‑pay workflows. You will own the full journey from signed contract to confirmed first value, bridging sales, engineering, and customers while creating the processes and playbooks that enable the company to scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own deployments end‑to‑end: plan timelines, align stakeholders, orchestrate go‑lives and shield engineers from onboarding work.
• Configure and tune AI agents to each customer’s procure‑to‑pay reality, testing against real cases until they perform reliably in production.
• Translate customer requirements into clear integration specifications for ERP, DMS and email infrastructure, flagging risks early.
• Run user trainings, manage change and build support infrastructure from scratch, including ticketing and escalation paths.
• Engage customer IT departments during sales cycles in German, answering security and compliance questions with technical credibility.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years in consulting or structured implementation roles delivering complex projects with senior client stakeholders.
• Native German proficiency and professional English (C1+), able to lead technical discussions with enterprise IT and senior management.
• Experience mapping enterprise procure‑to‑pay or order‑to‑cash processes to system workflows and integration requirements.
• Background in supply chain, procurement or industrial operations is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience configuring, deploying and tuning AI agents or autonomous systems in production.
• Technical depth with ERP systems, data integration and enterprise IT infrastructure sufficient to write engineering‑ready specifications.
• Practical daily experience with AI tools and a clear understanding of agent capabilities and limitations.
