About the role

The Chairman to the Board of Directors will provide strategic leadership for 0-8 Capital, a performance‑driven platform focused on acquiring and scaling businesses. Based in Munich with hybrid work flexibility, the role partners with board members, executives and investors to shape the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead executive decision‑making and set governance and strategic priorities.
• Drive operational excellence and oversee market positioning.
• Strengthen relationships with investors, business partners and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to organisational values and promote accountability across the board.

Required profile

• Proven experience chairing boards or holding senior strategic roles.
• Strong background in scaling businesses and delivering disciplined execution.
• Expertise in corporate finance, investment analysis and capital allocation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high‑pressure situations.
• Familiarity with private equity, M&A or venture scaling is a strong advantage.
• Advanced degree in business, finance or a related field preferred.
• Fluency in English required; German proficiency is a strong asset.
