About the role

BlupaceTech is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join its Berlin team. You will provide second‑level technical assistance to internal and external customers, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Mac, and peripheral devices.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide second‑level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
  • Work with vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
  • Communicate status and resolution updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates for all reported incidents.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber and other authorized desktop applications.
  • Provide basic support for Mac OS users.
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on computers, laptops and printers.
  • Carry out remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers and other authorized peripherals.

Required profile

  • Minimum of 4 years of IT experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7‑10, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and Office 365.
  • Experience with PC hardware installation, troubleshooting and enterprise anti‑virus solutions.
  • Familiarity with help‑desk ticketing systems and mobile device management for iOS and Android.
  • Analytical, problem‑solving and multi‑tasking abilities with a focus on meeting SLA targets.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Flexibility to work off‑hours or weekends for projects or emergency support.
