About the role
This is a founding People hire at a Y Combinator‑backed B2B SaaS startup building AI‑powered automation for distributors and manufacturers. As the first dedicated Talent function, you will own full‑cycle recruiting and shape the People & Culture foundations from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Build the hiring engine from scratch, managing the entire recruiting lifecycle for GTM, engineering and operations roles.
- Design and execute active sourcing pipelines across Europe to attract top talent.
- Develop structured interview processes to assess both skills and cultural fit.
- Maintain clear candidate communications and ensure an excellent hiring experience.
- Own employer branding and position the company as an exciting workplace in Europe.
- Create onboarding programs that enable new hires to become productive quickly.
- Define and nurture company culture, driving employee engagement, feedback loops and team rituals as the organization scales.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in high‑growth, VC‑backed startups or fast‑scaling tech companies.
- Proven track record of building or scaling recruiting processes and shaping team culture.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, engage and convince hard‑to‑find early‑stage candidates.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Munich in a high‑intensity startup environment.
