Freelance Construction Manager – 144MW Solar Project

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Construction Manager to lead the on‑site execution of a 144 MW solar power project located near Cologne, Germany. The role is contract‑based and requires immediate availability to ensure the project progresses on schedule while maintaining the highest health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities for the solar installation.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
• Maintain compliance with HSE regulations and enforce quality standards throughout the site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solar or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong site‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in German and English.
• EU citizenship and availability on a freelance basis.
