Logistics Specialist – Transport Arrangement

About the role

The Logistics Specialist – Transport Arrangement supports the Automotive Logistics Department by planning, coordinating, and following up vehicle transportation across Europe. You will work closely with internal teams, logistics service providers, and transport partners to ensure smooth execution, accurate tracking, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily communication with internal teams, logistics service providers and transport partners.
• Arrange vehicle transport by truck, shipping or combined solutions across Europe.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates on transport progress.
• Track vehicle movements and maintain accurate records in systems and Excel tools.
• Prepare, collect and follow up transport‑related documents, invoices and supporting paperwork.
• Identify and address transport delays, operational issues and bottlenecks.
• Support logistics supplier coordination, including list maintenance and performance follow‑up.
• Participate in supplier review meetings and support operational improvement actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve transport workflows, visibility and efficiency.
• Provide operational support for transport‑related logistics activities as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in vehicle logistics, transport arrangement, shipping, trucking or supplier coordination.
• Good understanding of transport processes, shipment tracking, logistics documentation and vehicle movement control.
• Ability to prioritize and resolve transport‑related operational issues in a structured way.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, service providers and external stakeholders.
• Professional relationship‑building skills with logistics suppliers and transport partners.
• Structured, detail‑oriented and proactive working style with strong follow‑through.
• Capability to manage multiple transport topics in parallel and meet deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience defining, documenting or improving transport and logistics processes is an advantage.
• Fluent German and good English; additional European language is a plus.
