Senior Accountant – General Ledger, VAT & Fixed Assets

About the role

Nemetschek Group is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its German accounting team in Munich. You will be the accounting expert for general ledger, VAT, and fixed‑asset accounting while supporting global finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB for Nemetschek SE and its subsidiaries.
• Manage payment transactions, intercompany reconciliations and collaborate closely with international subsidiaries.
• Act as the main contact for auditors and tax advisors.
• Participate in process‑optimization and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed education/qualification as an accountant.
• Senior‑level experience in accounting and financial statement preparation under IFRS and HGB.
• Knowledge of European VAT law and basic international tax law.
• Strong written and spoken German and English (C1 level).
• Independent, structured, reliable and service‑oriented work style.
