Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead daily floor operations across our German sites, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You will coordinate receiving, storage, and outbound processes while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive warehouse performance by implementing daily management methods and identifying cost‑saving, productivity, and service‑level improvements.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and outbound activities, enforcing operational policies and procedures.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, reporting results to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material‑handling, and shipping regulations.
• Maintain security protocols to protect warehouse operations and inventory.
• Plan and implement new layout designs, including automated sorting machinery, and manage equipment maintenance.
• Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and report financial performance.
• Recruit, orient, train, coach, and discipline warehouse staff, conducting performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Degree in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience; overseas experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
• Strong data‑analysis capabilities.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
