Accountant – Financial Statements (HGB & IFRS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to prepare monthly and annual financial statements in line with German HGB and IFRS standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external auditors, while driving process improvements and digitalisation within the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• Handle accounting entries, provisions, account reconciliations and VAT pre‑registrations.
• Act as liaison between internal departments and external auditors.
• Support the optimisation and digitalisation of accounting processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting records across the organisation.

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably with an additional qualification as an Accountant.
• Several years of experience preparing financial statements under HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Structured, precise and independent working style.
• High reliability, responsibility and a collaborative mindset.
