About the role

0-8 Capital is seeking a hands‑on Board Chairman to drive succession, ownership transition and value creation. This is not a ceremonial position; the role demands active involvement in underwriting, restructuring and execution of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Back the founder with decisive support during real‑world situations.
• Provide judgment, capital and speed to accelerate acquisitions and capital formation.
• Avoid management and board gossip, focusing on high‑impact decisions.
• Help create value under pressure by guiding M&A, restructuring and refinancing efforts.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in private equity, principal investing or family‑office environments.
• Previous chairman or board mandates in M&A‑heavy contexts.
• Proven track record in restructuring, refinancing and capital formation on multi‑million‑euro transactions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of M&A, restructuring, refinancing and capital formation.
