Construction Manager

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is looking for a Construction Manager to lead the fire‑protection package on complex engineering projects in Frankfurt. You will report to the Operations/Contracts Manager and be responsible for on‑site execution, ensuring the work meets scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel under your supervision.
• Define and control the detailed scope of the fire‑protection package.
• Manage all project changes with a verifiable paper trail.
• Plan and execute work in strict alignment with the overall programme schedule.
• Coordinate with design teams to secure materials, designs and equipment ahead of need.
• Directly manage trades personnel, ensuring efficiency and high‑quality standards.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably fire‑protection systems.
• Strong on‑site leadership and ability to work across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent safety awareness and commitment to compliance.
• Ability to deliver scope within budget and ahead of schedule.
