Digital Art Director & Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Art Director & Designer to join our Berlin‑based Digital Studio. In this position you will shape immersive digital experiences that blend brand storytelling, product design, and interactive media across campaigns, websites and apps.

Key responsibilities

• Lead visual direction and design of digital experiences, including websites, interactive editorials and campaigns.
• Translate brand strategies and creative concepts into cohesive design systems and visual languages.
• Design user experiences from early concepts to high‑fidelity UI and final production assets.
• Collaborate closely with developers, editors and producers to ensure technically feasible solutions.
• Define design languages such as typography systems, grid structures, motion behaviours and interaction patterns.
• Contribute to creative pitches and concept development for new projects and brand collaborations.
• Maintain design quality and consistency while balancing creative ambition with usability and technical constraints.
• Present design concepts clearly to internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Strong visual taste with awareness of contemporary culture, fashion, media and digital aesthetics.
• Ability to move from concept and moodboards to polished, production‑ready design.
• Experience leading visual direction for digital campaigns or interactive experiences.
• Solid understanding of typography, visual storytelling and editorial design.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, interaction design and responsive design.
• Product‑thinking mindset with experience in digital product development.
• Knowledge of motion principles and ability to direct animation for digital interfaces.
