Financial Accountant (Part-time)

About the Role

Join Windpunx, a leading technical and commercial wind farm operator managing over 900 sites across Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and France. We are looking for a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our Berlin team on a part-time basis (minimum 20 hours/week) to support our growing renewable energy operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple wind farm entities
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and payment processing
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Execute VAT declarations and tax compliance
• Provide accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong educational background in commerce or accounting (ideally towards Certified Accountant/Expert-Accountant level)
• High level of precision and organizational skills
• Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is mandatory

• Advanced proficiency in MS 365 (Expert level in Excel)
• Financial reporting and closing expertise
• VAT and tax compliance knowledge
• Accounting software proficiency
• Strong communication skills
