Forklift Operator – Logistics & Office Fit-Out Project

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Forklift Operator to support logistics on a large‑scale office fit‑out project in Cologne. The role involves handling, moving and storing materials to keep site activities running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload and transport goods across the construction site.
• Receive deliveries, verify contents and store items in the correct locations.
• Distribute materials to work areas according to the project schedule.
• Assist the Site Manager and logistics team with planning and coordination.
• Maintain tidy, clearly marked storage zones and keep access routes free of obstacles.
• Perform daily equipment checks, report defects and carry out basic maintenance.
• Follow German safety regulations, site HSE procedures and participate in safety briefings.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence or certification recognised in Germany.
• Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of safe loading, lifting and transport practices.
• Good awareness of site safety and logistics coordination.
