Global Reporting System Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Global Reporting System Developer to join Bosch’s data team in Magdeburg. In this role you will design, build and maintain reporting and business‑intelligence solutions that support our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new functionalities, interfaces and ETL processes for the Global Reporting System (GRS) and related BI tools.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for daily business processes on the GRS platform and associated systems.
• Consult internal customers on KPI‑related tasks, onboarding and requirement clarification.
• Support presales activities by analysing requirements and delivering BI insights for new projects.
• Explore Big Data and AI opportunities, contributing to data‑strategy and optimisation initiatives.
• Integrate existing platforms, data and analytics capabilities into innovative, data‑centric services.
• Assist with process optimisation, database management and data‑warehouse operations.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent vocational training (preferred).
• Several years of professional experience developing with .NET (C#), T‑SQL (MSSQL), JQuery, HTML and CSS.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments and using GitHub for version control.
• Strong background in data analytics, business intelligence and KPI reporting.
• Familiarity with Big Data concepts, AI‑driven analytics and data‑warehousing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Independent, analytical and collaborative mindset.
