Interim Senior Accountant – 6‑Month Contract (Frankfurt)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to provide interim support for our Swiss subsidiary during a key transition. The position is a 6‑month contract based in Frankfurt, with a short‑term assignment in Zurich in May to ensure a smooth handover.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Apply and reconcile cash receipts.
• Support accounts receivable and collections activities.
• Assist with month‑end close processes for the Swiss entity.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with regional finance leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide day‑to‑day accounting operations support during the transition.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and accounts receivable.
• Experience supporting multinational or European entities preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; German or additional European language skills are a plus.
