Procurement Specialist – Hybrid (Frankfurt Area)

About the role

The Procurement Specialist supports Convergint’s Operations Directors, Project and Site Managers by managing end‑to‑end purchasing activities for projects, small works, services and third‑party logistics providers. Based in the Frankfurt area, the role operates in a hybrid model, combining office work with occasional site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders for project materials, subcontracted services, IT stock, and training needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service scopes within defined authority to support profitability.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including PO records, confirmations, and delivery logs.
• Track savings, monitor supplier SLAs, and report to the Procurement Manager Europe and Head of Procurement & Logistics Europe.
• Collaborate with logistics, after‑sales, and design teams to ensure smooth returns and support when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or purchasing within a service‑oriented or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of purchase‑to‑pay processes and supplier management.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and handle urgent operational needs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
