Junior Buyer – Home & Living

About the role

As a Junior Buyer in the Home & Living category, you will support the acquisition and management of branded and private‑label products for a fast‑growing, premium fashion platform. You will work closely with the Division Lead Buying, senior buyers and the merchandise planning team to develop innovative assortments that connect customers with stylish homeware.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a wide portfolio of brands and execute operational purchasing for defined international product areas.
• Drive brand and division development in line with the company strategy, including new brand acquisition.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Track weekly and monthly financials, analyse KPIs and take corrective actions to meet targets.
• Oversee open‑to‑buy (OTB) management and support the full order process.
• Attend trade fairs and travel frequently to meet vendors.
• Conduct competitive analysis and collaborate with logistics, campaign planning and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Degree in business administration or a comparable field.
• 1‑2 years of international purchasing experience in Home & Living (e.g., home accessories, decoration, furniture, kitchen & dining).
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical thinking and ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness to travel and negotiate with external partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using BI reporting tools.
• Solid data‑analysis and KPI‑monitoring capabilities.
