Junior Buyer – Home & Living

About the role

As a Junior Buyer in the Home & Living category, you will support the acquisition and management of branded and private‑label products for a fast‑growing online fashion retailer. Working closely with the Division Lead Buying, senior buyers and the merchandise planner, you will help shape the product assortment and ensure a seamless order process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a wide portfolio of home‑ware brands and execute operational purchasing internationally.
• Develop brand and division strategies, including brand acquisition and OTB management.
• Track weekly and monthly financials, identify actions to meet KPIs and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Support the full order cycle and assist buying team members.
• Attend trade fairs and travel regularly for market research.
• Conduct competitive analysis and collaborate with logistics, campaign planning and marketing.

Required profile

• Degree in business administration or a comparable field.
• 1‑2 years of international purchasing experience in Home & Living (e.g., home accessories, decoration, furniture).
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to think creatively.
• Willingness to travel and work autonomously.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with BI reporting tools.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Data analysis and KPI reporting capabilities.
• Negotiation and report preparation abilities.
