About the role
SimScale is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive commercial growth within its top‑tier EMEA customer base. This quota‑carrying position sits in the Customer Success team but focuses exclusively on expanding existing accounts, not on onboarding or churn management.
Key responsibilities
- Own the commercial growth agenda for top‑tier EMEA accounts and develop Account Growth Plans.
- Drive cross‑sell of Engineering AI and Physics AI capabilities to engineering leaders and technical decision‑makers.
- Identify and engage new business units, departments, and executive sponsors within existing customers.
- Build executive‑level partnerships at C‑level and VP‑level, positioning SimScale as a strategic partner.
- Coordinate internal teams (CSMs, Application Engineers, AEs, SDRs) to deliver the full product suite.
- Generate and manage your own pipeline through structured outbound activities, qualify expansion opportunities and close deals.
- Lead Executive Business Reviews to align on strategy and progress.
Required profile
- Proven track record in B2B sales or account management within technology or engineering software markets.
- Experience selling complex, multi‑product solutions to senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong ability to build long‑term executive relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Comfortable working in a quota‑driven environment and delivering measurable revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English; additional European language a plus.
