Key Account Manager – Pharmacy Corporations (Germany)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated sales professional to lead and develop new sales opportunities within pharmacy corporations, buying groups, e‑pharmacies and specialized wholesalers in Germany. The Key Account Manager will focus on increasing the German sales volume and market share of the Cipla generic portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve agreed annual sales targets and grow market share across assigned pharmacy channels.
- Monitor performance at SKU level, analyse market data and compare Cipla performance with competitors.
- Identify and onboard new pharmacy corporations, e‑pharmacies and societies, developing end‑to‑end strategies to maximise share‑of‑wallet.
- Lead new product launch initiatives and plan annual strategies based on competitor analysis.
- Prepare bottom‑up sales forecasts, coordinate with supply chain management to avoid stock‑outs and ensure adequate inventory for online pharmacies.
- Maintain regular communication with the National Head of KAM and other internal stakeholders to accelerate opportunities.
- Build and sustain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, adhering to all relevant pharmacy regulations.
- Provide business intelligence by sharing insights and feedback gathered from customer engagements.
Required profile
- Self‑driven sales professional with a strong interest in the pharmaceutical market.
- In‑depth knowledge of pharmacy corporations, buying groups, e‑pharmacies and the regulatory environment in Germany.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior pharmacy executives.
- Analytical mindset to interpret market data and translate it into actionable sales plans.
Required skills
- Sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Portfolio management and new product launch execution.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance.
