Maintenance Technician – Germany (Airbus Projects)

About the role

Join Orbital Critical Systems' on‑site teams in Germany to support strategic Airbus projects. You will be responsible for the upkeep and reliability of industrial facilities and infrastructure across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for plants and technical installations.
• Supervise external service providers such as crane, elevator and specialised equipment contractors.
• Prepare, schedule and execute maintenance, inspection and test plans.
• Handle supplier management, quotations, technical clarifications and invoice control.
• Support maintenance planning, controlling processes and KPI monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Coordinate expert inspections, audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance, facilities or industrial plant environments.
• Experience working with external suppliers and contractors.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, inspections and technical documentation.
• Basic experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities; project‑coordination experience valuable.
• C1 level English mandatory; German (B1‑C1) strongly preferred.
• Citizenship of a European country.
