Mechanical Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to lead mechanical construction activities for multiple data centre sites. Based in Frankfurt, you will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects meet milestones, budgets, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee mechanical construction across data centre sites in Norway.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Monitor budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks of mechanical installations.
• Resolve construction issues and escalate when necessary.
• Support procurement planning and logistics for mechanical materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of construction management experience, preferably in data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, permits, risk, and on‑site logistics.
• Strong knowledge of data centre cooling strategies and mechanical compliance requirements.
• Experience commissioning and testing HVAC and cooling systems.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or CIOB are advantageous.
