Near Patient Nurse – Hybrid role in Trier region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced hospital nurse to join our Near Patient Nurse team in the Trier area. The position combines on‑site hospital visits with remote work, offering a predictable schedule, no night shifts, and the chance to collaborate with international medical teams supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a clinical liaison between German hospitals and international stakeholders, ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor inpatient cases, maintain clinical quality, and produce accurate medical reports in English.
• Communicate directly with physicians, nursing teams, and patients, providing bilingual (German/English) support.
• Coordinate safe discharges, follow‑up care, and patient advocacy.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and contribute to quality assessments.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an acute inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice nursing in Germany.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style, and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in German language (B2+).

• Experience with digital health record systems.
