Fitness Manager – Expansion (Germany)

About the role

BEAT81 is rapidly expanding across Germany and needs a dynamic Fitness Manager to lead the launch of new studios. The role combines steady‑state platform support in your home city with project‑based assignments in emerging markets, where you will build the local fitness ecosystem from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the fitness build‑out in a new city for 3‑6 months, mapping local coach talent and securing studio equipment.
• Source, interview and onboard experienced fitness professionals to the BEAT81 platform.
• Personally coach classes during launch periods to ensure class availability and community engagement.
• Hire and transition a local Fitness Manager who will take over after your assignment.
• Maintain relationships with freelance coaches, answering questions about studio logistics and equipment.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to a launch playbook.
• Between launches, support platform operations by analysing class data, collaborating with product and tech teams, and sharing updates with coaches.

Required profile

• Based in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf or Cologne.
• 2+ years of structured group‑fitness coaching at a high standard.
• Expertise in CIRCUIT/HIIT; willingness to be onboarded for indoor cycling.
• Experience leading group‑fitness teams and collaborating with other fitness professionals.
• Builder mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and starting from zero in new markets.
• Willingness to relocate repeatedly for 3‑6 month launch windows.
• Fluent English and at least B2‑level German.
