Project Lead – Strategy Consulting

About the role

As a Project Lead in Strategy Consulting you will join BASF's global management consultancy to drive high‑impact strategic projects across the company. You will work closely with senior executives, applying your consulting expertise to shape sustainable growth, innovation and organizational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex strategy consulting engagements from inception to delivery.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders throughout each project phase.
• Collaborate with BASF executives worldwide on high‑priority initiatives.
• Support projects in Innovation & Growth, Marketing & Sales, Organizational Excellence, and Post‑Merger Integration.

Required profile

• Professional experience in strategic consulting at a global consulting firm.
• 3‑7 years of relevant experience, depending on the level (Project Leader or Senior Project Leader).
• Proven expertise in project‑management and consulting methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
• Client‑focused, inclusive attitude and reliable teamwork.
• International work experience is advantageous.
