Quality Specialist – Automotive Audio & Multimedia

About the role

The Quality Specialist will support MOBIS Parts Europe in analysing field claims, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the reliability of audio and multimedia systems across Hyundai and Kia vehicles in Europe. The role combines hands‑on technical investigation with data‑driven problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse regular field claim data, identify improvement needs and define corrective actions.
• Use dealer hotlines, meetings and direct customer investigations to prevent future claims.
• Manage recovery of claim parts, perform first‑line lab analysis and coordinate root‑cause investigations.
• Validate improvement effectiveness through data analysis and field re‑occurrence monitoring.
• Conduct new‑part and new‑car evaluations in European environments using custom check‑sheets.
• Develop and continuously improve test methods and check‑sheets for European‑specific quality issues.
• Report findings to headquarters and support local factories and suppliers on quality topics.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive experience, preferably with audio/multimedia systems.
• Valid driving licence (category B).
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Germany on short notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with test equipment: oscilloscope, digital multimeter, power supply.
• Full IT literacy and strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read electronic schematics and block diagrams.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for internal and external stakeholders.
