Remote Molecular Biologist – Part‑time, up to $1450 per task

About the role

We are looking for an experienced molecular biologist to evaluate AI‑generated outputs for biotech research. The role is fully remote and part‑time, with compensation per completed task.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess AI‑generated experimental designs, genomic data analyses, protein characterizations, and other biotech research methodologies.
• Create realistic laboratory scenarios covering gene expression analysis, CRISPR protocols, and proteomics data interpretation.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across use cases such as sequencing pipeline accuracy and molecular target identification.
• Provide structured feedback on AI performance against molecular biology standards, genomics and proteomics guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for biotechnology AI.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional or post‑doctoral experience in biotechnology, genomics, proteomics, or molecular biology.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant life‑sciences field is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a biotech company, CRO, academic laboratory, or pharmaceutical R&D setting.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complex research workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
