Global Head of Pharmacovigilance

About the role

CHEPLAPHARM is seeking a Global Head of Pharmacovigilance to lead a worldwide team of roughly 50 professionals. The role is responsible for defining and executing the safety strategy for the company’s established product portfolio, ensuring a sustained benefit‑risk balance and regulatory confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously evolve pharmacovigilance strategies for the established portfolio, including product integration and lifecycle maintenance.
• Oversee overall safety performance, benefit‑risk profile, and compliance across case management, signal detection, aggregate reporting, and risk‑management activities.
• Make high‑impact safety and risk‑management decisions that influence product positioning and regulatory outcomes.
• Lead pharmacovigilance contributions during due‑diligence processes, evaluating safety risks, liabilities, and integration requirements.
• Guide cross‑functional teams to ensure effective safety surveillance and lifecycle management.
• Foster collaboration with Medical Operations, Medical Affairs, and other enabling functions.
• Lead, develop, and nurture a global team of pharmacovigilance professionals, promoting a culture of patient safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record of leading large, global teams.
• Strong decision‑making ability in safety and risk‑management contexts.
• Experience with product integration and lifecycle management.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with medical and operational functions.
