Senior Construction Planner

About the role

Airswift is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Planner to support a major EPC project in the energy and petrochemical sector. The role involves creating, maintaining and analysing detailed construction schedules, identifying risks early and ensuring alignment across contractors, project teams and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed construction schedules in line with overall project timelines.
• Gather and consolidate schedule input from contractors, project management and client teams.
• Perform schedule analysis to identify risks, delays and critical‑path impacts.
• Provide early warnings of potential deviations and propose mitigation strategies.
• Communicate schedule sensitivities, risks and progress updates to key stakeholders.
• Support planning activities across Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phases.
• Conduct schedule impact analysis and support change‑management processes.
• Prepare regular progress reports and planning deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience on construction projects.
• Proven background in petrochemical, oil & gas or energy EPC projects.
• Experience working with major contractors or international operators is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of EPC processes (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
• Experience with schedule risk analysis and change management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with NetPoint is an advantage.
