Social Media Manager – Defence Technology

About the role

Destinus, a European defence‑technology company, is looking for a native‑English Social Media Manager to shape its online voice. You will own the brand’s presence on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube and the corporate website, turning complex defence topics into engaging, authentic content.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish compelling copy for social platforms, ensuring each post adds value.
• Develop and maintain a cross‑platform content calendar aligned with product updates and company priorities.
• Plan, execute, and report on event‑related communications, from announcements to post‑event coverage.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to review, approve, and schedule content on time.
• Analyse performance metrics and provide insights to continuously improve reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Native English speaker with a strong, distinctive writing voice.
• Demonstrated portfolio of social media work, preferably in technical or defence‑related sectors.
• Curiosity about defence technology and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.
• Willingness to challenge conventional corporate tone and avoid buzzwords.

Required skills

• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Experience managing LinkedIn, X, YouTube and website content.
• Proficiency with content‑planning and analytics tools.
