Community Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Welevel is looking for a passionate Community Manager to build and nurture the community around its upcoming AAA survival‑RPG title, SolidRiver. Based in Munich, you will shape how players interact, share feedback, and become ambassadors for the game from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the community on Discord, Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Create platform‑specific content such as posts, short videos, memes, and images.
• Run and moderate the Discord server and any forum spaces, setting the tone as the community expands.
• Identify, engage and build relationships with streamers, content creators and influencers in the survival and RPG space.
• Plan and execute community events, beta programs and creator outreach leading up to launch.
• Gather player insights and feedback, and relay them to the development team.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR and development to align community activities with the studio’s narrative.
• Track and report on community growth, sentiment and engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for survival games and active participation in related communities.
• Deep understanding of what makes gaming communities thrive, gained through real involvement in Discord servers, subreddits, etc.
• Strong writing and communication abilities with a keen sense of tone and voice.
• Comfortable creating content across text, images and short video formats.
• Self‑driven, able to own the process of building a community from scratch.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willing to work onsite in Munich.
• Nice to have: professional experience in community management, social media or content creation.
