Special Projects Manager – Operations

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Special Projects Manager to drive operational excellence as we scale from a €150M D2C business to a full omnichannel brand. Based in Berlin, you will work closely with the Operations team to diagnose, design and implement solutions across supply, production, logistics, procurement and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of priority operational projects, from problem definition through to building tools, running pilots and handing over to permanent owners.
• Manage multiple initiatives in parallel, prioritising by impact and readiness.
• Analyse ambiguous issues, create decision‑ready frameworks and quantify business impact on P&L, unit economics and risk.
• Develop and ship production‑grade tools and processes, leveraging AI‑native automation and workflow‑automation platforms.
• Collaborate daily with operators and cross‑functional leads to ensure solutions are practical and scalable.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex operational projects in a fast‑growing consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn vague problems into clear, data‑driven recommendations.
• Self‑starter who can work with minimal guidance and deliver tangible results.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with teams across supply, production, logistics and customer service.

Required skills

• Experience with workflow‑automation tools or AI‑assisted process building.
• Proficiency in business analysis and financial impact modelling.
