Teamlead Accounting & Finance

About the role

JOIN is looking for a Teamlead Accounting & Finance to drive its financial planning, reporting, and compliance as the company scales. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure the finance function is investor‑ready and support strategic decisions across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash‑flow planning, translating SaaS metrics into actionable recommendations.
• Lead the accounting function, overseeing month‑end close, statutory reporting, and compliance with German GAAP (HGB).
• Prepare board‑level financial reports, KPI packages, and support financing rounds and investor due diligence.
• Implement modern financial tooling and AI‑powered workflows to improve speed and quality of output.
• Manage, coach, and develop a small finance team, setting clear expectations and fostering growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning (budgeting, forecasting, cash planning) within a SaaS or B2B tech environment.
• Hands‑on accounting expertise with solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
• Experience preparing investor reports, board decks, and supporting financing rounds.
• At least one year of people‑management experience.
• Data‑driven mindset and comfort with AI‑enhanced financial tools.
• Fluent English communication skills.
