Business Process Manager – Master Data Governance

About the role

We are seeking a Business Process Manager to lead our Master Data Governance (MDG) initiatives within Satair’s Company Management System in Hamburg. The role combines process ownership, data standards definition, and agile delivery to ensure high‑quality master data across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Process Owner Delegate for MDG processes, designing and maintaining the Master Data Governance Framework.
• Define data standards, policies and structures, and integrate business requirements while ensuring compliance.
• Monitor process performance, validate IT change requests and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead MDG work packages and coordinate Master Data Management contributions for strategic transformation projects such as the Material Master Improvement Program and ERP MDM/MDG.
• Serve as Scrum Master for the Master Data team, facilitating all Scrum events and ensuring efficient delivery.
• Represent Master Data Governance in global projects, consulting stakeholders and fostering best‑practice sharing within the specialist community.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Business Process Manager or in a comparable role, with solid background in master data governance.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills in English.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into precise IT specifications.

Required skills

• Modeling tools such as Symbio or SAP Signavio.
• Scrum Master certification or equivalent agile experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP and Google Workspace.
