Software Development Intern – Flight Physics

About the role

Join Airbus Operations as a Software Development Intern in the Flight Physics Capabilities Department. You will work at the Finkenwerder plant in Hamburg, contributing to Python applications that process fatigue loads.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and modernize Python applications for pre‑ and post‑processing of fatigue loads.
• Develop flexible interfaces and add new functionalities to the codebase.
• Implement robust integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Collaborate with the Component Loads team and other experts.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time student in aeronautical/industrial engineering, IT or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English with good communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Linux operating system.
• CI/CD pipeline concepts.
• Experience or interest in testing frameworks.
