Digital SoC ASIC Physical Implementation Engineer

About the role

You will join Bosch's microelectronics team to develop highly integrated RF System-on-Chips for next‑generation automotive radar. The role focuses on the physical implementation of mixed‑signal SoC ASICs, from microcontroller architecture to digital layout, ensuring robust and testable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement mixed‑signal SoC ASICs, creating digital layouts and floorplans for RF components.
• Integrate state‑of‑the‑art Design‑for‑Test techniques and industry‑standard IP blocks.
• Perform comprehensive HDL checks (LINT, consistency, CDC) and integrate hard macro designs.
• Lead sign‑off verification activities: Static Timing Analysis, Electromigration, IR‑drop, Equivalence Checking, and gate‑level simulation.
• Coordinate with external service providers and collaborate with international project teams.

Required profile

• Completed university studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Solid knowledge of digital ASIC design, IP integration, digital layout, RTL‑to‑GDS flow, UPF and verification.
• Experience with analog RF SoCs for automotive applications and digital‑on‑top integration of analog macros.
• Familiarity with functional safety requirements and automotive development processes.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
