About the role
We are looking for a reliable Extra Help Assistant to support the Grand Prairie Center at Phillips Community College. This part‑time position involves basic cleaning and event support duties on campus.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain rooms and common areas within the Grand Prairie Center.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for special events and activities.
- Handle manual tasks such as moving furniture and lifting items up to 50 lb.
- Follow safety guidelines and tolerate cleaning solution odors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Physical ability to bend, reach, and perform manual labor.
Required skills
- Basic cleaning techniques.
- Manual handling and lifting.
