Labour Relations Specialist – EMEA (Berlin)

About the role

The Labour Relations Specialist will support TikTok’s EMEA operations by managing relationships with works councils and ensuring compliance with regional labour laws. Based in Berlin, you will act as a strategic liaison between employee representative bodies and the business, fostering transparent communication and protecting employee rights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement works council strategies in collaboration with global HR, legal, and business stakeholders.
• Build trusted partnerships with regional works councils, lead negotiations on IT updates, performance management, employee movement processes, and company policies.
• Provide expert advice to business leaders and HR Business Partners on co‑determination and labour law matters.
• Coordinate cross‑functional HR projects across EMEA, serving as the regional coordinator for global initiatives.
• Handle day‑to‑day works council operations, including staff measures, query management, training coordination, and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including direct work with works councils in Germany.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, mediation, and strategic writing abilities.
• Strong adaptability and a proactive approach to emerging labour trends.
